Twin Turbo C6 Corvette Z06 is an 8-second Monster

The C6 Corvette Z06 is one of the great modern Vettes, possibly featuring the last of the big displacement V8 engines. It’s powered by a naturally-aspirated LS7 measuring 427.8 cubic inches, which delivers a combination of 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. With the help of the standard 6-speed manual transmission, the LS7 made the C6 Z06 a solid 11-second car in the quarter mile, but there is a lot more power to be made through the tuning process.
The Corvette shown here is an example of the benefits of a big twin turbo build on an LS7-powered Z06.
