Little Red Corvette Makes Big Splash at SEMA
Corvette Forum is at SEMA with the hottest Corvettes stealing the spotlight. And this classic is king in Sin City.
This year’s SEMA is underway in Las Vegas, Nevada, showing off the industry’s best and brightest. One look at this 1954 custom Corvette convertible and we were gone. It doesn’t get much better than this for pure Corvette perfection. Oh, and did we mention it is going up on the auction block? Yes, some lucky person gets to take this red-hot ride home.
Barrett-Jackson is selling the 1954 Corvette named “Transitions.” The name refers to the passage and fusion from the 1950s vision of the future to our modern world today.
The build was done by Larry Griffey of Hot Rod Restorations in Knoxville, Tennessee. Griffey worked on customizing every aspect of the hardtop convertible. The Transitions Corvette has a complete C4 suspension package with custom-built front and rear anti-sway bars. The body was widened and rear wheel wells removed.
