Product Overview
Keep your Corvette’s lower bodywork looking fresh while matching its sharp, motorsport-inspired styling. These Factory GM XL Extended Style Rock Guards are engineered for the 2020–Present Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray and Z51 models and shaped to shield the side paneling, brake scoop area, and wheel-arch edges from debris kicked up by the tires. Compared with the smaller factory guards, the XL design delivers substantially more coverage without looking tacked on; the profile follows the C8’s edgy lines so the pieces read like factory equipment. You can choose from three finishes to match your build and other trim: real Carbon Fiber for an exotic look over an ABS-PC substrate, Painted Carbon Flash Metallic to blend seamlessly with OEM carbon-flash accents, or a stealth Matte Black that disappears visually while still doing the work.
Each package is sold as a complete set and includes one pair of left and right front splash guards, with finish depending on your selection. The Carbon Fiber version is supplied as a pair of Corvette C8 Factory GM XL Extended Style Carbon Fiber Front Side Mud Flaps, while the Carbon Flash and Matte Black versions come as pairs of ABS-PC plastic mud flaps finished in their respective coatings. All sets are designed to reuse the OEM hardware already on your Corvette, keeping installation clean and straightforward.
With their nearly double-size coverage compared to factory GM splash guards, these extended rock guards are an effective way to prevent stone chips, scuffs, and paint damage while maintaining the aggressive aesthetic that defines the eighth-generation Corvette.
Key Features
The extended geometry and newly developed bladed shield edge are the heart of this upgrade. By redirecting gravel and grit away from the rocker faces and out of the wheel well path, the guards dramatically reduce paint chipping and sandblasting on high-impact zones—especially behind the front tires and around the brake-scoop opening. Construction emphasizes durability and OEM-like integration. The Carbon Fiber version combines a dry-carbon appearance layer with a robust ABS-PC base so you get both the visual weave and the everyday resilience needed for road use. The Carbon Flash Metallic option is paint-matched to the Corvette’s factory carbon-flash components for a uniform appearance across splitters, vents, and trim. The Matte Black option offers a low-gloss, utility-first finish that still looks purposeful on track-focused builds. All variants are sold as a left/right pair for the front axle and are sized nearly double the factory GM splash guard coverage, giving you real protection on daily drives and long trips without upsetting airflow or stance.
Installation
Fitment is straightforward because the pieces are designed around factory mounting locations. Hardware is not included; you simply reuse the OEM fasteners from the wheel-arch liner. The Carbon Fiber set is built for a direct clip-on style installation that locks into place at the OE points, while the Carbon Flash Metallic and Matte Black sets are configured for direct bolt-on mounting using the same factory holes. No drilling or permanent modifications are required, and a printed manual is not included. Most owners with basic tools can complete the install with the wheels on or turned for access; professional installation is recommended if you prefer a shop-grade, perfectly aligned result on the first try.
