Installation

This SRT Demon Style Carbon Fiber Hood is designed as a direct replacement for the factory engine hood on compatible 2008–2023 Dodge Challenger models.

Remove the factory hood and carefully test-fit the carbon fiber replacement before final installation. Hood alignment should be checked against the front fenders, headlights, grille area, and windshield edge before tightening the hinge hardware.

Transfer the applicable OEM hood latch striker, hinge hardware, prop rod or hood strut mounting components, and any other required factory hardware from the original hood as necessary.

Because aftermarket body panels may require minor alignment adjustments, carefully adjust the hood position and latch engagement before final tightening. Confirm that the hood opens, closes, and locks securely before driving the vehicle.

For vehicles that will be operated at high speeds or used in performance applications, aftermarket hood pins are strongly recommended as an additional safety measure.
