Compatible with Stingray, Z51, Grand Sport, Z06, and ZR1, this premium rear diffuser offers a perfect blend of OEM precision, race-inspired design, and cutting-edge lightweight carbon fiber construction.
Crafted using dry pre-preg carbon fiber, the same advanced material technology used in high-performance supercars, this diffuser delivers exceptional strength and rigidity while remaining lightweight. The aggressive finned layout not only adds visual drama but also improves aerodynamic efficiency by channeling airflow beneath the vehicle, enhancing stability and reducing drag at high speeds.
Finished in a UV-protected gloss carbon fiber weave, the diffuser’s surface maintains its deep, rich luster while resisting fading, oxidation, and discoloration over time. Designed as a direct bolt-on replacement, it utilizes factory mounting points and existing OEM hardware for a flawless, factory-level installation with no modifications required.
Whether for show, performance, or restoration, this carbon fiber finned diffuser is the ultimate rear-end upgrade for your C7 Corvette — engineered for enthusiasts who demand premium fitment, authentic styling, and true aerodynamic functionality.
Key Features
Authentic GM Factory Style Design
Modeled directly after the OEM performance package diffuser found on higher-spec C7 models, ensuring a perfect factory fit and a cohesive look that complements the Corvette’s rear bumper lines.
Dry Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber Construction
Built using aerospace-grade dry carbon fiber for maximum rigidity, reduced weight, and superior heat resistance compared to traditional wet carbon parts. This advanced process creates a cleaner, stronger weave with minimal resin content.
Aerodynamic Enhancement
The multi-fin design effectively channels air from the underbody to reduce turbulence, increase rear downforce, and stabilize the car during high-speed driving or track use.
Lightweight Performance Upgrade
Dry carbon fiber construction offers significant weight savings over OEM plastic or fiberglass alternatives, enhancing responsiveness and overall vehicle dynamics.
High-Gloss UV-Protected Finish
A deep, mirror-like gloss finish protects against UV rays and maintains the diffuser’s pristine carbon weave appearance for years.
Perfect OEM Fitment
Each diffuser is precisely molded using original GM CAD data, guaranteeing seamless alignment with OEM mounting locations. Fits all 2014–2019 Corvette C7 variants with no cutting or drilling required.
Durability and Weather Resistance
Built to endure the harshest driving environments, from daily street use to extreme heat on track days — resists cracking, chipping, and fading.
Aggressive Rear Aesthetic
Instantly transforms the look of your Corvette’s rear end with a performance-oriented design that complements other carbon fiber components like side skirts, spoilers, and front splitters.

About Dry Carbon Fiber
Dry Carbon Fiber vs Wet Carbon Fiber — What’s the Difference?
Not all carbon fiber parts are made the same. The biggest distinction comes down to how the carbon is processed — commonly known as dry carbon and wet carbon. Both use genuine carbon fiber weave, but the production method, finish, and performance are completely different.
Manufacturing Process
Dry carbon fiber parts are produced using a pre-preg (pre-impregnated) carbon cloth, where the exact amount of resin is pre-applied by the manufacturer. These sheets are then vacuum-sealed and cured under high pressure and temperature in an autoclave, removing excess air and resin.
The result is a light, extremely strong, and precisely formed component — the same process used in motorsport and aerospace applications.
Wet carbon fiber, on the other hand, uses a hand-lay or wet-lay method. The carbon cloth is laid into a mold and liquid resin is manually brushed or poured over it before curing. Because it’s not vacuum-bagged or autoclave-cured, there’s usually more trapped resin and air pockets, leading to a heavier part and a less uniform finish.
Weight & Strength
Dry carbon fiber is roughly 30–50% lighter than wet carbon. This is due to the controlled resin ratio — just enough to bind the fibers without unnecessary weight.
By comparison, wet carbon or carbon-over-fiberglass parts can be up to 70% heavier, since excess resin and fiberglass layers add mass without increasing stiffness.
For reference:
- Carbon Fiber Density: ~1.55 g/cm³
- Fiberglass Density: ~2.6 g/cm³
Dry carbon also offers a much higher modulus of elasticity (~125 GPa), giving it outstanding rigidity under stress — ideal for aerodynamic and high-load components.
Visual & Structural Differences
-
Backside: A true dry carbon piece will look identical front and back — you can see the same woven pattern throughout.
Wet carbon or fiberglass-backed parts often have a dull, uneven underside with visible fiberglass texture or color variation. -
Edges: Solid dry carbon has clean, uniform black edges.
Wet carbon or overlay parts may show a white or grey line along the edge, revealing the fiberglass underneath — sometimes hidden with black paint trim. -
Finish: Dry carbon typically has a consistent matte or satin finish, while wet carbon can appear glossy but uneven due to hand-applied resin.
